Jon Stynes’s Cornhole journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Currently ranked #2 in Season 3, Jon has made his mark not just as a competitor but as a driving force within the UK Cornhole community. Jon’s passion for the game led him to establish the Knarsdale Knights Cornhole Club, which has grown into a hub of competitive and community Cornhole in his local area. The club has cultivated a community around the sport, promoting camaraderie and competition among its members and beyond.
Outside of Cornhole, Jon is a seasoned craftsman, working in bespoke woodwork and manufacturing. As the owner of Charge Cornhole, a leading manufacturer of Cornhole bags and boards in the UK, Jon’s skill as a builder and designer shines through in every product he creates. His deep understanding of the game’s technical requirements and his passion for quality make Charge Cornhole one of the most reliable names for players looking for top-notch gear.
In addition to Cornhole, Jon is also a dedicated player of Quoits, another precision-based sport that has undoubtedly contributed to his sharp eye and steady hand on the Cornhole boards.
Jon’s Cornhole achievements have extended beyond UK borders. In Season 19, Jon earned a trip to play in the ACO Worlds in Owensboro, Kentucky, a prestigious opportunity to compete at the highest level. Although he was unable to attend, this accomplishment remains a testament to his skill and dedication to the game. Likewise, he was selected to represent Cornhole GB in the World Cornhole Association Championship in Trier, although he was ultimately unable to attend.
Not only is Jon a dedicated athlete and craftsman, but he’s also an avid cook with his own YouTube channel dedicated to the culinary arts. This hobby adds another layer to Jon’s multi-faceted personality, bringing together his love for community, creativity, and craftsmanship.
