20 players travelled to the Park Sports Centre in Oxford to battle it out on the boards. With 13 of those being new players to the league.
The format was a refined group/knockout bracket and there was some quality cornhole action on display throughout the day.
In the group stages we saw Richardson and Lilley have a perfect record of four games, four 2-0 wins meaning they would meet in the Semi Final.
Other quality displays were from Vaughan, Davies and new players Edmonds and Neusch.
In the last eight it was Lilley, Richardson, Vaughan and Davies to advance to the Semi Finals.
The first Semi final saw Lilley come up well short against a charging Richardson 2-0 (21-2, 21-8).
The second Semi Final saw a in form Vaughan defeat Davies 2-0 (21-9, 21-15).
Daniel Lilley then defeated Graham Davies 2-1 in a 3rd place playoff.
The final was watched by all the players and served up a good match but it was Matthew Richardson that didn't let a set slip all day and cement himself and the top of the Order of Merit rankings has the UK's No1 player. The final result was 3-0 (21-4, 21-5, 21-8).
