Players from all over UK & Europe descended on Manchester for the Northern Qualifier stage two.
The tournament was the forth of five qualifying events to reach the season ending National championship in July.
There was three groups with the top two from each group going into the knockout stages.
The preliminary round was played out between Geoff Vaughan, Aaron Fielder, Jon, Wishart and Mark Schindler.
They battled it out to face the automatic semi finalist, Daniel Lilley and Konrad Rein.
It was Mark and Aaron, who reached semi final, and the first semi-final was Mark versus Konrad.
Konrad prevailed with a 2-0 win to reach the final 21-5/21-2.
American player, Aaron Fielder came up against Daniel Lilley in another good contest. It was Fielder who reached the final. 21-14/21-5.

The final qualifier will take place on May 20th in Oxford and entry will be open soon.
