Among the new faces making waves in the UK Cornhole League this season, Dave Farmer is fast becoming a name to remember.
Based in Stubbington, Fareham, Dave juggles an impressive list of responsibilities. By day, he works in maintenance for the NHS, ensuring frontline services run smoothly. In his spare time, he serves as a volunteer with the Hillhead Coastguard team, responding to everything from water rescues and coastal searches to the occasional mud-stuck wanderer—a testament to both the terrain and Dave’s unwavering commitment to his community.

But somewhere between saving lives and serving his local trust, Dave has found a passion for cornhole—and he’s not wasting any time.
After first picking up a set of bags in November 2024, Dave entered his debut tournament just a few months later at UKCL Qualifier 3, where he made an immediate impact with a 13th-place finish. It was clear from the outset: this wasn’t just a new hobby—Dave had game.
Since then, he’s continued to impress. Notable highlights include:
A key win over Jonathan Chivers at Q3
• Holding his own against Q4 Champion Josh Hiser, proving his rapid rise is no fluke
Still fine-tuning his arsenal of shots, Dave hasn’t settled on a definitive play style—but his right-to-left cut shot is quickly becoming a signature move, especially effective against stubborn blockers.
Heading into the Nationals Tier 2 competition, Dave’s goals are grounded yet ambitious:
“Improve my PPR, grab a few wins, and enjoy the ride.”
With a recent 8.20 PPR at club level, he’s already showing he has what it takes to go deep. Whether it’s hauling in nets on the coast or landing four-baggers on the boards, Dave Farmer is proof that dedication and composure go a long way.

One thing’s for sure: at Nationals, he won’t just be showing up—he’ll be showing out.
