Micah & Cooper Davis: A Father-Daughter Duo Making Their Mark in UK Cornhole

From the heart of Wisconsin to the boards of Bury St Edmunds, Micah Davis and his 11-year-old daughter Cooper are proving that cornhole truly is a sport for everyone — and every generation.

Now based in Suffolk and working as an Aerospace Defence Contractor with the American Air Force, Micah balances a demanding professional life with his growing passion for cornhole. A proud member of the Bury Baggers Cornhole Club, he brings both consistency and competitive grit to every match — his signature push shot earning him a top-10 overall finish in Season 2 and 5th place in Tier 2 Nationals.

While work commitments have limited his tournament appearances this season, Micah has his sights firmly set on a return to the Tier 2 podium, building on his proven form on the UKCL circuit. But it’s not just his own performances turning heads this season…

Enter Cooper Davis — A Star on the Rise

Joining her dad on the boards for the first time this season, Cooper Davis has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in the league. A Year 5 student with a passion for school sports and aerial silks, Cooper began training with the Bury Baggers and wasted no time making an impression.

In her UKCL debut, Cooper faced off against one of the best in the country — Daniel Lilley — and stunned onlookers with an impressive 4.17 average, delivering five airmails, her trademark shot. The performance earned her a “High Roller” patch personally handed over by Daniel — a proud milestone she calls her favourite moment in the sport so far.

She’s no stranger to the podium either. Cooper’s 3rd-place finish in the ACO UK Junior competition solidified her as a rising star. Now, she’s looking ahead to Nationals, where she’ll compete in the open category — aiming to earn her first adult win and land her first competitive four-bagger in the process.

Whether it’s Micah’s steady hand or Cooper’s fearless flair, this father-daughter duo is helping to shape the future of cornhole in the UK — proving once again that the UKCL is a community built on passion, inclusion, and moments that bring generations together.
